Every comfort has been thought of including several kinds of pillows on each bed. We awoke to glorious views over the garrigue from our second floor balcony & ate our croissants in the exquisitely planted coutyard garden. The location is superb. Our days were filled with diverse activities such as visits to spectacular medieval castles, canoeing and picnicking in the nearby Gorges du Gardon, exploring Roman ruins including the breathtaking Pont du Gard & pony riding through the surrounding vineyards & forests. The village Castillon du Gard is surreally beautiful, a medieval village with awe inspiring views.
